Nurten joins David Lyng Real Estate as a seasoned professional with years of experience in the Real Estate Industry. Her real estate career is preceded by an impressive 27-year background in financial and sales management in the banking industry, including 16 years as a Branch Manager at Union Bank Monterey. This financial expertise, combined with long-standing professional relationships, provides her clients with a distinct advantage in today’s competitive market.
A passionate advocate for community service, Nurten has dedicated countless hours to supporting local organizations. She is a proud Rotarian of 26 years and a founding member of the Carmel Sunset Rotary, where she served as Club President during the 2020–2021 term. Under her leadership, the club was honored as Rotary District Club of the Year. Nurten is once again stepping into leadership as the current nominee for President for the 2027–2028 term. She also served on the Nonprofit Alliance of Monterey County Awards Committee from 2013 through 2021.
Nurten is also deeply engaged in the Turkish American community. She currently serves as President of the Monterey Chapter of the Turkish American Association of California and has played an instrumental role in organizing the Monterey Turkish Festival for more than 25 years.
